New in 2026, the CLEANPOWER in Color Champion Award recognizes a professional in clean energy who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to expanding access to opportunity 鈥� opening doors, sharing knowledge, and bringing others into the rooms and conversations that move careers forward.
Nominees for this award should exemplify the understanding that leadership is not built in isolation, and nominations should describe how they have taken deliberate action to uplift others in their network, company or community.聽
This award will be presented on Tuesday, June 2 at CLEANPOWER in Color 2026 in Houston, TX.聽

Award Criteria
Nominees will be evaluated based on the following:
- Commitment to Mentorship
- Has actively mentored, sponsored, or created pathways for others to advance in the clean energy industry.
- Prioritizes Expanding Access to Opportunity
- Has worked to expand access to networks, conversations, or opportunities in clean energy.
- Personal & Professional Impact
- Has made a meaningful, demonstrable impact on at least one individual or community within the industry. Feel free to include in your nomination stories about how this person has positively impacted your life or career, or the life and career of someone you know.
- ACP Membership
