In this letter, ACP CEO, Jason Grumet, withdraws the 新麻豆视频 Association鈥檚 support for the SPEED Act due to the poison pill amendment from Representative Harris added, in the Rules Committee, without a floor vote. This change in the Committee approved legislation, eviscerates the bipartisan language authored by Chairman Westerman and allows the administration to continue to discriminate against clean energy technologies.
The Harris amendment injects permit uncertainty, and creates a pathway for fully permitted projects to be canceled even after the Act鈥檚 passage, during a time of skyrocketing energy demand and increasing energy prices.
